The Box Paradise Bungalow

The location was pleasant, with some nice bars and restaurants only a five-minute walk away. Even in high season it didn't feel too touristy, and the staff were very friendly. We paid a small fee for the transfer from the port. When we first arrived, the pool and rooms looked lovely. Unfortunately, the rooms aren't soundproof. Traffic and neighbors were so loud that we could hear every noise, even a cough or a fart, and it was hard to relax. We also had to order breakfast each evening for the next day, since it came from somewhere else. The room and bathroom looked great at first, but the cleaning wasn't proper. I couldn't tell whether the towels and toilet paper were cleaned or replaced. The mirror was dirty when we arrived, and a broken shower part and razor cover stayed on the floor for our whole visit. We also found a cockroach in the room. It's a nice place, but some things really need work.

The open bathroom and pool were our favorite parts. The rooms looked just like the photos, and thanks to the staff for keeping the place so clean and tidy. The reception team were friendly and helpful, arranging snorkeling, motorbike hire, and ferrie at affordable prices. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely recommend it.

A peaceful place with a good breakfast, and a handy option for travelers watching their budget. A good scooter rental, decent restaurant, and shop are only a two-minute walk away. Rent a motorbike and head out to explore.

We booked three rooms for six people and got a great price. I honestly don't know how they make it worth it for them, but I'm glad we picked this hotel. We're planning to have breakfast there too, since it looks great and the prices are good. There are plenty of good warungs nearby. I'd recommend it to anyone on a low budget who wants great service.
