Dewi Premier is a great option if you’re looking for a beach resort in Nusa Penida. It’s budget-friendly and well placed for beach lovers. The rooms looked newly renovated and were immaculate, with gorgeous ocean views of the greenish sea and mountains meeting the horizon. Highly recommended.

I loved the sunset and beach view from my room. You can hear next door if people are loud, and the chickens are pretty noisy too. The rest was fine for me, and maybe I was lucky that there wasn’t any loud noise during my stay.

The people were lovely and helpful, the location was great, and the views were beautiful. I asked for a top sheet when we arrived because sleeping under a polarfleece blanket wasn’t for me, and they brought one without any fuss. I’d have rated it 10/10 if it weren’t for the rooster farm, with around 20 birds right outside. They were quiet only from 8pm to 4am, so it’s not a place for light sleepers. We got ear plugs, but I still slept with noise cancelling headphones on.

Easy to get to restaurants on foot, and the air con worked really well. The room was lovely, with a beautiful ocean view, and check in was simple. The bathroom was clean and had a big shower, though the hot water came and went. They provided two bottles of water. The downside was the extremely loud roosters right outside our room, calling from 4am and waking us up.
