Beji Bay Resort

The front desk staff were genuinely helpful. They arranged tours, taxis, and a scooter rental for us, and we could sort out pretty much everything there at good prices. The hotel itself was a letdown, though. The pool didn't look very clean, and the breakfast wasn't like the buffet shown in the pictures, it was just a few items served to us. There was no longer a bath in the room either. When we asked about it, the staff didn't seem surprised and said it had been removed, even though the Booking website still showed it in the photos.

We had a really good stay, even though I'd been unsure after reading the reviews. Our room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the pool is big. The staff were lovely and helped us book a snorkeling trip and tickets to the Gili islands. They also let us keep our motorbike in their garage while we were away on the islands. Great value for what we paid, and we'd happily recommend it.

The hotel was quiet and the staff were friendly. The rooms could use an update and weren't clean, though, and the pools badly needed a proper cleaning. I did like having the rock formation nearby. The lobby had a feces smell, unfortunately, and the hotel sits right beside a Muslim and Hindu cemetery.

The staff were so kind and helpful. When our wallet was stolen, they helped us try to get it back, went with us to the police, and even gave us breakfast and water for free. We still really appreciate all of that. The location was handy too, just a 2 min. walk to blue lagoon beach, 1 min walk to esplanade with main beach, bars and restaurants, and 10 min walk to harbour. For a low budget stay, the rooms were nice with comfy beds, the service was great, and the pool area was awesome!!!
