The patio looks out over a really pretty jungle view. Breakfast is included too, a simple serving with seasonal fruit. It’s a nice place run by a local family, with all the amenities you could want at a reasonable price.

The fast Wi-Fi and omelette breakfast were the only things that earned a star from me. The double room was a decent size, but the bathroom was disgusting and there was no hot water. It’s a 10-15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The owner seemed irresponsible and didn’t speak English, which made communication difficult. Reviews from five or more years ago were very positive, but maybe the place hasn’t been maintained well since.
The hosts were kind and attentive, and it felt like they really wanted us to enjoy our stay. The guesthouse is closest to ‘bias tugel’ white sand beach, which is heavenly beautiful. It’s getting busier these days, though mornings are quieter, and it’s still one of Bali’s more relaxed beaches. Our room had AC and everything we needed, including a spacious cupboard for clothes. The price was great, and WiFi worked well. We had a wonderful stay.
There were bed bugs, and the lady who lives there was very mean. I really wouldn’t recommend this place.
The owners were friendly and easy to communicate with, and leaving at 3:00 A.M. wasn’t a problem. We had a spacious room upstairs with a bathtub and excellent hot water, plus a balcony overlooking the neighborhood. The only thing I’d change is the WiFi, which didn’t work in bedroom number 3. Thanks for the hospitality. I’d happily stay again when I need to take the ferry to Lombok.
