Kutuk took great care of us and arranged our transfer to Amed. We only spent one night at Lemon House while in transit, but would have stayed longer if we could. The house is beautiful and well maintained, about 10 minutes from the port, up on a hill with an amazing view.

A tiny, quiet hostel at an incredible price, with a lovely view over the city and ocean. Staying there felt like visiting a family friend. I left some bags in storage for a few days while I went to the islands, and it was easy to do, with no pressure to collect them by a particular date. If you’re after somewhere quiet and homey, this is the place.

The owner was easy to reach on WhatsApp or email, so checking in around 3 am after my flight was badly delayed went smoothly. My room was comfortable and had a lovely balcony view, and the harbor is close enough to walk to for boat transfers. There’s also a beautiful place called "secret beach" about 10 minutes up the road. Ask the owner how to find it. Just be aware the property is at the top of some stairs, though that shouldn’t stop you staying here. :)

Kat ut and the kitchen chef were hospitable, and the clean room had a very nice view. The hotel is quite central and the location is great. The stairs up might be tough for anyone carrying heavy luggage.

The owner was amazing. For a good, fair price, he picked me up from the airport and took me to the hostel. Since it was late, he asked if I needed dinner or drinks. I got upgraded to a better room because it was free that night. It was clean and comfortable, and a perfect spot for this area, just a 7-minute walk to the boat departure point for the islands. Highly recommended for anyone staying here.
