Being so close to the airport was handy, and the room was clean and comfortable.

All good.

I ended up canceling my January 3 stay after coming from Batu City. The actual place was very different from the photos on Traveloka, and I wouldn't trust the guesthouse manager's pictures based on what I saw. The room itself didn't match the listing either. There was a stale smell from reception through to the bedroom, and the toilet outside the room was far from clean. Beside the room, a line was crowded with dirty clothes, including underwear, which made passing by uncomfortable. At reception, motorcycles were parked all around and made it hard to get to the desk. The floor there was dirty and cluttered, and the staff member meant to welcome me was asleep at the reception in casual clothes. She didn't know about my booking and said she couldn't check me in because her phone had run out of battery. I then waited about 10 minutes while the room was prepared. When I asked the accommodation staff about an offline refund, they said they couldn't arrange one because I'd booked through Traveloka. I hope Traveloka checks how this place is listed so nobody else gets scammed like I felt I did. It's about 4 km from the airport, but online taxis are hard to find in this district. Being near the airport doesn't help much if getting a taxi is difficult, so keep that in mind. I was too disappointed to take a photo, lol. Hopefully I'm the last person to get scammed by this place.

The price kept changing on me. I first rented an air conditioned room for 750, then halfway through they asked for another 250, saying the boss had given me the wrong price. Less than a month later, they wanted another 500 because the price had gone up. Even 1.5 million wasn't enough for a room here, apparently. The room was dirty and smelled bad, the stained sheets looked like they hadn't been changed, and the bathroom was filthy. The AC barely cooled, and employees slept wherever they wanted. I wouldn't recommend it. Find somewhere else.
