It's tucked down a small alley, quite out of the way, but you can head to the main road for food and other things, toward Junjung Buih or RTA Milono. The place feels very clean and peaceful. The room is downstairs at the front, so there's no need to climb stairs, which works well for families with small children. The staff are friendly with them too. They only allow married couples and families, and you have to leave your ID card, so it feels safe. My room was a good size, with a clean floor and mattress, and the bathroom was clean too. The tap and toilet worked, though the shower leaked and couldn't be used. There's free Wi-Fi and a water dispenser outside, plus a drying space outside the bathroom. My first booking was 125,000 IDR a night for a fan room with a double bed, TV, and attached bathroom. The rate is now 130,000 IDR. No towels or toiletries such as soap or toothbrushes are provided. The checkout experience changed my mind about returning. At 10 AM, I was told to leave, with the explanation that the power was out and the cleaner had arrived. They waited until we had checked out, and I honestly felt hurt, like we were being pushed out. I don't think I'll stay here again when I'm next in Palangkaraya. Thanks, and I hope things improve.

The service didn't feel very friendly, especially when I saw how someone with a small child was treated. I had thought this was just a guesthouse, but I won't be coming back.

Rooms start at 150 thousand. They're clean and come with a TV, AC that could be colder, a table, chairs, wardrobe, drying space for clothes, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, and mineral water.
