Formerly Reddoorz @ Hotel Damanaka Pangalengan

I may have been the only guest last night. The building is old and hasn’t had any major improvements, and the service wasn’t good enough. The rooms felt dark and a little spooky, and cleanliness needs work. WiFi was available and worked well. I can’t recommend the hotel unless things improve.

The bathroom made it hard to sleep, with a loud cricket-like sound, and using it was a hassle. The shower was broken, the cold tap didn't work, and the water was too hot to adjust. We had to let it cool in a bucket before bathing. On top of that, the clerk greeted us unfriendly when we arrived tired, and there was nobody at reception when I tried to check out. A really frustrating stay.

We paid 420K and arrived late on 18/12/21 to find a dirty hotel and an uncomfortable bed. Service was very poor, and housekeeping disturbed us three times. They also charged us 75K because I brought my daughter, who is over 12. I was really disappointed and will never book here again.

My aunt held a wedding party here, and it went really well. We had booked three rooms ahead of time. I wasn't happy with one of them, though, because the bed wasn't very good. Still, it's a very good hotel in Pangalengan.
