Cordela Inn R Sukamto Palembang

I only had dinner at the rooftop once, and the food was quite decent for foodies. The rooms are average, but fine if you're not too picky and just need somewhere to sleep. What stood out most to me was the location, near shops and places to eat. They also have smoking rooms, which is rare these days, and I appreciate that.

The food was the big letdown for me, around 2/5. I tried everything and found it bland. The porridge had some flavor, but even its broth was cold, with no stove under the pot. I hope they improve the food, especially since what we paid wasn't much less than at the hotel my friend and I usually choose for vacations, where all the food was delicious. We booked a deluxe twin. The room wasn't very spacious, but it was still nice. The AC and water heater worked perfectly, and the beds and linens were clean. The towels looked grayish-brown, maybe from long use, though they were clean enough to use. Our room faced the front of PTC mall, so the view was nice in the morning and at night. My ratings are based on the room experience.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and there was plenty of parking. There's also a rooftop where you can hang out with someone you love. A shopping mall is a three-minute walk away, and the mosque is just a minute away. People say the hotel is new and taking on the other businesses in the area. The thing I liked most was how clean it was. Not a speck of dust, okay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but it really was so clean.

For the price, the room is quite nice. It's a good hotel near the main road, though not right beside it. I'd recommend it for a stopover or a one-night stay.
