Don’t trust the boarding house listing with a phone number here. I was going to pay 225 thousand to book directly by transfer, but the actual boarding house accepts payment at the location.

It’s a great place, though a few things could be better. You have to go there to book because there’s no online payment option. Rooms are usually full, with many occupied by monthly renters. Most TVs don’t have set-top boxes, and even when one is available, it may not be in the room you’re booking.

I’ve been staying here as a boarder for three months, and thankfully it’s been fine because the place is clean. The landlady and landlady are really kind, and it feels comfortable, almost like home. One time, while I was drying clothes, a doormat fell onto them and made them all dirty. On Friday and Saturday nights there’s often loud “jangg jedug” music, though I don’t know where it comes from. There can also be noisy nightlife and motorbike racing; my room happened to be on that side. God willing, I’d stay here again if I return to Palembang.

I’m really annoyed. The receptionist was on her phone when I arrived and looked sullen, like she didn’t want to explain anything. Please teach staff how to deal with customers. Also, if you’re no longer working with any booking apps, remove the listing from EDIT instead of leaving people to find out only after they arrive. Don’t let one star ruin your reputation.
