The second room was comfortable, thankfully. We moved there the next day after the first room left us sweating and barely sleeping. It was quiet and spacious, but the air conditioner never got cold enough, even after we called reception twice to send an engineer. On the fourth floor, we could also hear noisy work from the fifth. We wanted a lower floor and a cooler room, and got those with the move. I'd stay here again, but the air conditioners need proper maintenance.

The price felt a bit steep, though corporate guests can get discounts. Still, I’d consider coming back. The room was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the internet was good. The TV was adequate, and there was hot water for the shower. Better than I’d expected.

The location would make this my last choice unless I had something to do around the red light district. Massage parlors and discos are all around, and the music could be heard past midnight. Someone even offered me a girl for the night. The hotel itself didn't live up to its rating either. We were shown a room and saw no major problem at first, but after checking in I noticed yellowing linen and a pillowcase that smelled like someone's head. It clearly hadn't been washed, so I asked staff to replace it. Breakfast was just fried rice from a cooker with a sunny side up egg and no other toppings. The Wi-Fi was very slow. For a little over IDR 200K, the room had seemed okay when we viewed it, but those issues changed my mind.

The neighboring room was loud in the middle of the night, and someone slammed a door in the morning. I also had to complain twice because the air conditioner wouldn't cool the room. The bedsheet wasn't clean either.

The hotel had just been renovated and looked great. The area around it was pretty unpleasant, though, with many pijat plus-plus (massage parlors) and noisy karaoke places at night.
