The villa’s design is so bad that water runs into the living room and leaves the floor VERY slippery. One of our friends fell and hurt his back, and the staff took no responsibility. We were meant to have breakfast included, but at the last minute they said it wasn’t and tried to charge us. They also don’t answer the phone even when they can clearly hear it. At one point the restaurant music stopped while we were calling, but nobody picked up. The place was crawling with rats, bugs, cockroaches, ants, mosquitoes and other insects. I’ve lived in Bali for three years and know this can happen, but this was INSANE. A door wouldn’t close properly, two of the three bathrooms had no hot water, and the water pressure was poor. One AC controller was missing, so we froze at night with nothing to adjust it and no blankets provided. The sheets and sofa had gecko poop on them, and there was no cleaning. With all the insects, it felt like a gecko buffet, and sleeping among bugs, shit and water dripping from the AC was disgusting. I could spend another 30 minutes describing how awful it was, but this gives you the picture.

We left after a couple of days because the villa was dirty and there was no cleaning. The ceiling and aircon leaked in one room, another smelled strongly of mold, and in the last room there were rat droppings by the bed. We could hear those little “friends” running through the walls and ceilings of the whole house. The villa was handed over filthy, with disgusting bed linen and a stovetop that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since it was built. I could go on for several more minutes. Communication with the villa manager was zero. Please don’t go, it’s a trap that will cost you money. Compared with the other places we stayed in Bali, this was the worst experience we’ve had anywhere in the world.

Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. The accommodation is falling apart, animals run across the roof all night, and the pool was green. I can’t be sure the bedding is clean. If you need an extra blanket because the bedding is so thin, you’ll have to pay for it.

What an amazing stay! The view was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and it was so quiet. I loved spending time here. Three nights felt like three hours. I’ll be back soon 😍😍😍
