Really affordable, and tucked into a quieter part of Canguu. The staff were so kind.

If you’re backpacking on a budget, I’d definitely consider this Homestay. The rooms are average-sized, the beds are comfortable, and everything was clean. There’s a shared balcony, and the staff were very helpful. They even let us refill our water bottles for free. Restaurants and shops are close enough to walk to, with more options easy to reach by Grab. Popular beaches aren’t too far away either. Maybe the best place to stay in all of Uluwatu for the price!

After three months backpacking around southeast Asia and staying in cheap hostels, this felt like a real treat while still being very budget friendly. The beds were so comfortable, the showers were great, and the AC worked really well. Free water refills were a nice touch. We were comfortable enough that leaving was hard.

The room was clean, the AC was very good, and the staff were friendly, but they were hardly ever around, so using the facilities was difficult. There’s no kettle, hot water, or fridge in the rooms, which means you really need to reach reception unless you’re eating out. That’s tricky here because eating options are limited. We saw other couples waiting outside for hours to check in, with no one in sight and no reply to the WhatsApp number they’d been given. The location works if you’re planning to rent a scooter. Only a few cafes are within walking distance, and just one was enjoyable. You’d definitely need a scooter to stay here. Breakfast wasn’t available, despite being advertised. The shower was fine, but it would suddenly blast very hot water and then cool down again, which got annoying. For the price, it’s an average, okay place to stay.
