The place itself is nice, but the owner's roughly seven roosters are kept in cages in the main yard. They start crowing around 5 in the morning and carry on until about 8. They're so loud that earplugs don't help. If you don't mind waking at 5 with no hope of getting back to sleep, you might rate the place 4 or 5 out of 5.

The owner was nice, but the mold was too much, and the bike rental prices were crazy. Since it's far from things, there aren't really other choices around. I've stayed in places at the same price that were much better, so I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I started seeing the rooms here empty when I was a teenager. On January 2, 2006, I helped build this homestay, and I've enjoyed helping with the work ever since. I got to know everyone in the family: my father, uncle, older brother, grandfather, grandmother, and me.
