We were very disappointed with the upkeep. The place no longer looks like the pictures, which seem to be from years ago, and it felt like nobody was looking after it. No one was there to welcome us, and there was no welcome book or information about the Wi-Fi password or things to do nearby. The house was extremely dirty, with animal poo and dead bugs all over the upstairs area. We had small children with us, and they couldn’t play up there. The upstairs shower had no pressure, half the lights didn’t work, there was a dead cockroach in the kitchen, and dead bugs in the bed pillows. The property manager was embarrassed and so disgusted that he decided to clean himself. We also found two toilets out of service, but there were no locks or signs, so we discovered that the hard way. We stayed one night and left the next day, feeling like we’d wasted our money. The house seemed not to have been cleaned in weeks. To the owners, please do a deep clean before the next guests. I wouldn’t stay somewhere with bed bugs with a child. Update: The owner replied below saying we’d get a refund, but we never did, and they ignored us.

My family and I had such a lovely time at Sunsets. The villa is huge, with so much space and absolutely stunning views. It feels like having our own little piece of heaven. We loved walking through the forest, enjoying nature and seeing monkeys, as well as visiting beautiful Padang Padang Beach. We can’t wait to return.

Everything was good, and I fell in love with this place. The room was clean and comfortable, and roomy enough to make me want to come back. Service was excellent too, with a villa manager who replied quickly and was very helpful. I highly recommend it.

The place was filthy, with bed bugs on the bed, and customer service was nonexistent. We agreed to leave early because we couldn’t stay there with kids, after they promised a refund. The place was nasty, and then they disappeared, stopped communicating and never paid us back as promised. They’ll take your money and go. Stay away.

We arrived to find the place dirty and not cleaned for us. Nobody was there to welcome us, and we couldn’t get the Wi-Fi password. There were bugs in the beds. The owner said they’d refund us because of the poor service and hygiene, but they never did and then ghosted us. It was disgusting, and I don’t recommend staying here.
