The staff were wonderful and easy to approach, especially Tama, who always helped us out and checked we had what we needed. The place has a homey design, and our room was cleaned regularly with fresh towels each day. Getting a scooter was simple, and the location made it easy to reach restaurants, cafés and other places we wanted to visit. We had a really good stay and would recommend it for Uluwatu.

We’re already looking forward to coming back. The pool was the highlight for us, clean, relaxing and a pleasure to spend time around. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and very clean, with a fantastic view. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we felt at ease. Our favourite place to stay in Uluwatu.

Next time I’m in Uluwatu, I’ll stay here again. The location is good, and the staff are exceptionally kind and quick to help whenever you need anything. The 50 m² room was spacious, new, stylish and well made, with thoughtful extras like a bathrobe, clothes steamer and mosquito repellent. There’s also a well-equipped gym and unlimited drinking water. I’ve stayed in a lot of villas, and this one is out in front.

We loved staying at Sunny Samudra. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and finished with quality materials. There’s no restaurant, but the in-room cooking facilities are great, and with a scooter it was convenient to get around. Construction next door was sometimes audible, though faint and only at reasonable hours, like 10am. The double-glazed windows and doors helped. Agus and Nycman were amazing, with great communication and help arranging a scooter and a laundry contact. The 24-hour security was reassuring too. Highly recommend.

The ocean view was amazing, and the spacious rooms had everything we needed: a big bed, a comfy lounge with a large sofa, and a kitchen. The rooms were super clean, and the design has a beautiful oriental touch. It’s just a few minutes from the nice cafés. This is definitely my favourite place to stay in Uluwatu.
