I wouldn’t return. The villa itself was very nice, but it needed a better clean. There was lots of black hair from previous guests, and the cushions and sofa were stained. The service was poor for the amount we paid. The welcome was friendly, but on the second day they didn’t seem to understand my request, walked away without a word, and left me waiting. I ended up using my phone to translate to Balinese. I’ve stayed in six places in Bali, and hospitality mattered everywhere else. I’ve worked in restaurants too, so I know how much it matters, but they didn’t seem to get it here. I also often saw or heard staff playing loud videos or taking speakerphone calls. When I asked for fresh water, they left a call on speaker instead of ending it, which was confusing and uncomfortable.

The location was handy for cafes, el kabron beach club, and bingin beach. Since the suites are relatively new, Grab and Gojek drivers can have trouble finding them, but it wasn’t too difficult to work around. I loved the Mediterranean villa feel and the option to take a cold plunge in the ice bath each morning. At night, the pool lights attract bugs into the water, so I’d suggest switching them off. Staff were accommodating and helped clear the bugs the next morning. All in all, we had a lovely stay.

The location worked really well, just a couple of minutes by car from the hatch or drifter, and there are two gyms about a minute away. Staff were available around the clock and incredibly helpful. We booked four nights and ended up extending by one more because the newly built villa was so good. It has a private outdoor pool with a cave, an ice bath, and an outdoor bathroom with a roof. The living and bedroom space felt luxurious, with an unbelievably comfy bed. There’s also a water dispenser with hot and cold water, and a fridge. What a place, five stars don’t seem like enough. Thanks for such a great stay!

I’ve stayed in five villas on this Bali trip, and this one was easily the best. The design feels especially well thought out, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the price and location are both great. 10/10, I’d stay here again.
