Le Bamboo Bali

Upstairs, you get a lovely view of the mountains in the distance. The open-plan room lets in fresh air and a soft breeze, and with the fan and mosquito net it feels a bit like sleeping outdoors without getting bitten. It’s a great spot to relax and unwind.

The vibe is really serene, and the view is amazing. The food was fantastic too. It’s a great place for my 300 hour yoga teacher training.

We could watch the sunset from here, and the food was so tasty. Such a chill, amazing place. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere quiet.

My one-night stay at Le Bamboo was a nightmare, and I checked out after just one night of a planned four. I was bitten all over my legs and had to book another hotel at 4 a.m. to get out. I believe I caught scabies there, which meant several clinic visits, expensive medical bills, and a lot of emotional distress. I’m still recovering. The bedroom also had bed bugs and dust mites, as far as I could tell. I regret booking it despite the bad reviews. I’d signed up for a yoga course held at Le Bamboo and thought I might get lucky. The room smelled damp, and the bedding was musty and moldy. There was no hot water, and I couldn’t find staff or reception to help. The front door didn’t shut properly, so bugs could get into the bedroom. Sleeping was impossible with an air freshener spraying loudly all night, a chirping gecko, and the air conditioner blowing straight at my face. The place looks nice in photos, but I honestly question whether Le Bamboo should still operate as accommodation. If you care about your health and sanity, I’d stay elsewhere. There are plenty of better options in the same price range, and I’d warn other guests about my experience.
