Medori Putih Homestay

My room was spacious, clean, and had good AC. There are two pools, and both were fairly quiet. I managed to get a lounger by one of them. Breakfast was great value at 65,000 each day. It came with coffee and juice, plus an American-style plate of eggs, toast, sausage, baked beans, and bacon. The staff were friendly, too. Padangpadang beach is an easy walk, with decent sidewalks along the way. Nice restaurants and plenty of shops are also within walking distance.

The garden is lovely, and the location is central to most things, but the room was shocking for what it cost. Even though cleaners came every day, there were still loads of ants. The bathroom was dismal, and the sink was far too small. Noise from the partying on the main strip made it impossible to sleep. I’ve never liked leaving an unfair review and have tried to put this carefully, but this was easily my most uncomfortable stay in Bali so far. I won’t be coming back on my next trip.

We’d definitely stay here again. It was a lovely peaceful spot amid the busy Pecatu area, with fair prices, and the staff were friendly and took good care of us. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. There are two pools, plus laundry, a restaurant, a market, and scooter rental. Thanks for everything! 🙏🏼

We paid under $30, but to me this place made sense at $12 or less. When we arrived with all our luggage, the workers just sat there watching us carry it to our rooms. The room itself wasn’t the worst, but we got a rough-feeling comforter without a sheet, and I’m sure they don’t wash those. The bathroom is why I’m giving one star. The sink is tiny and basic, there’s nowhere to put toiletries, and the door looked like it had been sitting in the ocean before being picked out of a rubbish pile. A proper door or sink wouldn’t cost much. Bali’s so popular they can get away with charging $50 for this garbage. We were in room #106.
