The kitchen was a little rustic, but that barely mattered with everything else so lovely. There are several places to eat right on the beach, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the setting. At high tide, it feels even more like you’re staying over the water than in a Maldives bungalow. We were on the second floor, with the ocean below, and falling asleep to waves brushing the rocks was such a wonderful experience. I loved lounging on the couch, watching the surfers and sunsets.

The one small downside is that there’s only one bathroom in the house, though there is a powder room on the ground floor. Even so, this place deserves more than five stars. It’s right on Bingin Beach, and the drawing room has a 270-degree view over the beach and sea. The amenities felt better than what you’d find in a five-star hotel. There’s a modern, well-stocked kitchen and a great home theater area. The bedrooms on the first floor have lovely views too. The host was helpful with check-in and check-out. A must-stay if you’re at Bingin Beach.

The house was spotless, and it was even better in person than the host’s photos and videos suggested. We stayed two nights, and everything went smoothly. The view from the house was amazing, and the host was great. Coffee, tea, water, basic spices, and towels were provided, and the kitchen was well stocked. There are good restaurants nearby serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner until 10 p.m. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We loved our three-night stay. Exploring the narrow rock staircases and nearby restaurants made us feel like adventurers, and the house is so close to the ocean that it felt like a giant boat. Ani was an incredibly gracious host, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. She even babysat our three kids so we could go to some beach clubs. Don’t expect a five-star hotel, but do expect a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

They cancelled our stay with just one week to go and gave no reason. We were already in Bali, so we had to find another place at short notice. Very poor service.
