We felt at home the whole time, thanks to owner Liam and Elise and the lovely staff. Breakfast was amazing and a great way to start each day. The room was kept immaculate, and the whole place is very well looked after. We got a warm welcome to the villa, which is surrounded by nature. Had an amazing time here, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe walking around the area, and there’s a nice yoga/pilates studio right next door. The staff were wonderful and made me feel so welcome. Melali was gorgeous, peaceful, and well maintained, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved my stay and will definitely come back.

We had such a great time, and we’ll be sure to return. We got an amazing upgrade to Villa, and the place and location were stunning, with lovely extra touches and beautiful breakfasts. The hosts gave us personal attention and helpful advice on the best local spots. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for them, and the staff were a real credit as well. A proper gem, and I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you Elise and Liam!

Elise and Liam, thanks again to you and the team. You made us feel like treasured friends, and couldn’t have done more for us. Your warmth and the team’s kindness, care, and thoughtfulness are what really make the stay. The place feels like a cosy jungle paradise, with just three rooms, which adds to that intimate feel. It’s a peaceful boutique stay, around five minutes by scooter or a 15-minute walk from some fantastic restaurants and coffee shops. Dewa’s brilliant scooter/bike rental is around the corner, and Gooseberry is an upscale restaurant 30 metres down the road. The hosts have great suggestions for different occasions. If you want to stay right by the beach or party, this probably isn’t the spot, though both are reachable. With the sad situation around Bingin Beach, there are other lovely beaches a short scooter ride away. Pedang Pedang gets very busy in the middle of the day, so go early or later in the afternoon. Melasti Beach is a little further, gorgeous, and well worth seeing, possibly the best in Uluwatu. Uluwatu Temple and the simply brilliant Kecak dance are about 15 minutes away by scooter and absolutely worth experiencing. For restaurants, we loved Gooseberry on the same road, Yuki for its Wagyu Sando, plus Teja, Kalla, and Artisan. Those last few are a little less formal but still lovely, and even the upscale places are much cheaper than similar quality in Aus, Europe, the US, or UK.
