We had a few small disappointments: the room was dark, and despite specifically asking when booking, we weren’t placed anywhere near our friends. The staff and the quality of the food and service more than made up for it. Bayu and Agung at reception were knowledgeable and gave us wonderful service, while the spa treatments were exceptional. The restaurant team, including Arcello, Yoga, Manik, Anjani, Dipa and Oka mahadita, made delicious coffee and cocktails and were always ready to help. Sorry if I missed anyone’s name. Every meal was tasty, and we could never decide what to order. Room service and turndown were thoughtful touches, especially the towel animals. We came for a getaway for my 40th birthday and had a memorable holiday.

We booked a cabana room and loved having our own private pool. The main pools were beautiful and very well kept too, and there was so much care throughout the property. What really made the stay, though, was the people. Agung was incredibly kind, thoughtful and helpful, Anjani warmly took care of anything we needed, and we always looked forward to seeing Oka’s smiling face and chatting at the restaurant. The food, drinks, spa and facilities were all wonderful, with service that felt personal and quietly luxurious. We stayed eight nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We loved every second and will 100% be back. Lots of love, Ellie & Matt 🤍

The staff were friendly and clearly trying their best. The concierge brought our luggage to the room, and resort manager Budi handled our feedback professionally and promptly. We appreciated his efforts, including arranging transport to our next accommodation and offering an upgrade to a villa on the same floor. The scenery, room style and views were lovely, the bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast and coffee were delicious, and the service at Tsune restaurant was wonderful. Still, for this price I wouldn’t recommend the resort, especially the Cabana room. Its bedroom is upstairs, with the bathroom and living area below, linked only by an outdoor staircase. You have to wear shoes and climb between levels, and in rainy weather the steps get wet and slippery. I fell on them, and the staff couldn’t provide a plaster for my wound. The WiFi was also choppy. The room layout felt poorly thought through: just two sockets in the bedroom, one far behind the bed that didn’t work, and the other awkwardly beside the sofa cushion, which had to be moved to fit a charger. Downstairs was very dim. The bathroom window faced the gym, so we had to close the blinds for privacy and lost what little natural light there was. The rooms are close enough together that people can see into each other’s. The grounds are beautiful, but the design and layout made the stay more stressful and inconvenient than it should have been.

The à la carte breakfasts were delicious, and the restaurant had fantastic views. I’d especially recommend the lobster and Wagyu meat dishes. The spa was lovely, the pool was great, and the hotel offered premium transfers at a very reasonable price. The staff’s service was excellent from the start. At check-in they added us to a special WhatsApp chat where we could send questions or concerns anytime, and Manager Agung was always available and looked after us like family. After a week travelling around Bali, we spent some time at the beautiful beaches of Uluwatu and chose Seascape Resort & Spa. We were thrilled with the choice and had a comfortable, wonderful stay.
