At night the place is bright, and the coffee shop out front gives it a lively feel. The service was friendly, and although the front doesn’t look like much, inside it’s bright and makes a good stopover. It’s tucked into a shopping area. Rooms start at 170,000 Rupiah a night and are comfortable for sleeping, with enough space, standard air conditioning, a working water heater, and a quiet TV.

The receptionist was friendly, but there was a girl, maybe the receptionist’s girlfriend or the owner’s, who was rude and had no manners, even though I don’t know her. The room itself had a full-time Android TV and Wi-Fi, and the water ran smoothly, but the AC wouldn’t turn off and there were unknown liquid stains on the wall. I paid almost 300k a night. When I arrived, I was confused because the app said RedDoorz Syariah, but the place didn’t seem sharia. Is that a scam? 👀

Hot water, coffee, tea, and sugar were provided, and the stay cost around 200,000 rupiah a night. My husband and I stayed at the end of February 2026, arriving late from Tanjung Perak, Surabaya after already being tired from Kalimantan. We rested here during Ramadan, so we didn’t get to walk over to the market in the morning. The location is excellent, right across from the batik wholesale market, and the service was good. It was comfortable overall, though the bathroom floor felt unpleasant underfoot and seemed like it needed frequent scrubbing so it wouldn’t get slippery. God willing, we’ll stay here again if we pass through.

The rooms and facilities are good for the standard price. Parking is cramped and inconvenient, and the glass doors have no covering, so guests don’t get much privacy.
