2/10
The location is convenient, with several places to eat, a convenience store, and even major gift shops nearby. That’s about the only upside. My room had no soundproofing, the AC settings were all wrong, the TV didn’t work, and there was no water in the hotel. To make things worse, I broke a glass because it had been put in an awkward spot. When I paid for it, they just said it cost 100k, without giving me a receipt or price list. I definitely won’t stay here again.

I’ve stayed here twice, and both times I found the room very clean. The hotel is centrally located, so it’s easy to find places to eat nearby. Breakfast was good, and the Wi-Fi worked fairly well.

The hotel is clean and the location is okay, but the road nearby is very busy. The room toilet leaked easily, and the water heater was leaking too. We reported it, but nobody replaced it. There was only one slipper, glass, and cup for our two-person stay, and they wouldn’t give us the two access cards we requested. Breakfast tasted average to us.

The food was a highlight. Breakfast and lunch were delicious, with a full spread of starters, main dishes, and desserts. The staff service was good, and getting around was convenient, with the airport maybe 5-10 minutes away by car and easy access to the rest of the city. My room was okay, though its bathroom light was broken and the sheets smelled a little unpleasant.

Hotel Alpha has a pleasant lobby where you can relax or meet, and there’s a karaoke room for entertainment. It’s on Harapan Raya Streets pekanbaru, about 5 minutes from the airport, with plenty of ways to get into central pekanbaru. It’s also listed with lots of hotel booking providers, so welcome to pekanbaru.
