Royal Asnof Hotel

The rooms felt dated, and for what we paid I expected better upkeep. We spent two days there, but were frustrated enough that I wouldn't recommend the hotel or consider it worth the money. If you're looking for somewhere comfortable and cool, I'd choose another place. On the first day, our room's AC barely worked. It only blew air and didn't cool the room at all, which made us feel worse. We reported it right away, but the receptionist was dismissive and didn't seem interested in helping. Her manner felt unprofessional. After an uncomfortable night, we asked to move rooms on day two. They first said they needed to check the old room, so we had to wait before they let us switch. The AC in the new room still didn't work properly. It was a little cooler, but nowhere near what you'd expect from an air conditioner.

The receptionist was kind and helpful, and after I complained, they moved me to a clean room. But the first room was a nightmare. It was dusty, smelled awful, and I couldn't stop sneezing or sleep on my first night. I don't think it had been cleaned at all. The bathroom was very dirty and smelly too, and the water had an old iron smell. Breakfast was standard. If you stay here, ask about the room first. I really can't recommend this hotel after that experience.

Cleanliness seemed inconsistent across my two stays. The first room felt comfortable and clean, but on my second visit things were less clean, especially the toilet, which didn't seem well maintained.

The hotel itself was nice, but the service was so poor that I don't want to stay there again. The receptionist was unfriendly and unresponsive, and staff need better training before serving guests. Our key card barely worked, so every time we wanted to get into the room we had to go back to the receptionist. The bathroom sink was clogged, and bowls and plates sat on the hallway floor from our arrival until checkout without anyone cleaning them up. I was really disappointed.
