Medewi Beach Inn

Eddie, the owner, looked after everyone and treated us like old friends. The cafe makes the most glorious coffee, and the rooms, food, and pool were all great. I had an unreal three-night stay. Highly recommend.

Only about 70 meters from Medewi’s great main point surf beach, and there’s even a nice surf shop. The people are the best, the food is very good, the rooms are clean and excellent, and the pool is amazing. Best resort in the area!

The rooms are basic, but I don’t go on holiday to sit in my room. For that, I’d book a five-star hotel. What keeps bringing me back is the excellent location and the real feel of Medewi. I always miss this place and the staff when I leave, though I still have another six weeks here! The same staff have been here during the four years I’ve been visiting. Edi, the owner, is a wonderful character, and that spirit carries through the team. There’s always a laugh and a chat about anything.

Eddie and the team are helpful with everything, and they took amazing care of my Dad after a medical incident. The rooms are basic, but that’s all you need, especially at this price. It’s friendly and safe, and the location is perfect for surfers. The food, service, and people are excellent. If anything comes up, just ask and they’ll help. We’ll definitely be back.
