The fried eggplant was crunchy on the outside and soft inside, a surprising Bali discovery for me. The restaurant was quiet, with soft candlelight and Buddha statues in the peaceful garden. A lovely spot for dinner in the evening.

Taruna felt like the old Bali we remember from long ago, with traditional service. We stayed three nights, and the staff were extremely friendly, making the whole stay enjoyable. Our room was well appointed and very clean, and we arrived to a handwritten welcome note and flowers on the bed. The food was very good, and the massages were the best we've had in a long time of visiting Bali. Thank you, Taruna. We'll definitely consider coming back soon. Suksma!

We had comfortable rooms, lovely food, and amazing, friendly staff. There are nice walks and beaches nearby, and even sweet little touches like the teapots add to the atmosphere. The massage was awesome too, 1.5 hours for 200k. Just a lovely place to stay. When we come back to this beautiful, friendly town, we won't stay anywhere else.

The pool is a quiet, private little gem, tucked away from the road with comfortable loungers and a soothing waterfall. Staff brought food and drinks to us poolside, which made it a very relaxing spot. The on-site spa was lovely too, and the meals we had here were consistently delightful. We also enjoyed trying nearby local restaurants. We had a wonderful stay at this homestay. Our spacious room was at the back of the property and had a distinctive outdoor shower. The bed was firmer than we're used to, but we still slept very well. Everyone on staff was welcoming, friendly and attentive.

The staff at Taruna welcomed us and took such good care of us during our five nights. We felt very looked after, with flowers on the bed each day and fresh towels often. The gardens and pool are beautiful, and our spacious room was clean, with an outdoor bathroom.
