The owners and staff live on site and were friendly. It’s around 50 minutes from Denpasar, and I’d recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Tabanan. The setting is calm and refreshing, with lots of greenery and a lovely waterfall view. The room already felt cool and comfortable, so I didn’t use the available air conditioning. There’s a water heater too. Food was reasonably priced by local standards. I tried the fried noodles, fried rice, and fruit platter, and all of it tasted good. The rental price is affordable as well.

The cats on the property were adorable, and the owners made me feel like part of the family. Food was simple but tasty. The bungalows and facilities were clean and well kept, with attentive service and stunning views. It felt like staying at a resort or villa for a fraction of the price. I loved it here and plan to return.
The atmosphere here was just wonderful, and the food was amazing. The hosts are the best, a very patient and attentive Balinese couple. This was my first stop after arriving in Bali, and I couldn’t leave the island without coming back to visit them.
Made welcomed us warmly, kept the garden and pool immaculate, and even drove us to our next stop. Ketut was kind and engaging, and patiently listened to my attempts at Indonesian. Wayan’s smile and energy made every morning a lovely start. The guestbook says something along the lines of “nothing is too much trouble,” and that really matched our stay. Communication was excellent, and arranging airport pickup, a scooter, laundry, or massages was easy. Our room was comfortable and the shower was good. Breakfast had fresh fruit, nasi goreng, omelettes, and pancakes, and the coffee was great. The waterfall seemed different every day, and the pool was a pleasant place to unwind. There are plenty of good places to eat nearby. We especially enjoyed savoury and sweet Martabak, Bakso from a man with a joyous smile, and seafood at Warung Nadi 99. The locals were friendly, and we had fun interactions everywhere, especially at PutraMart. We had a relaxed week at Campuhan Guesthouse, and it made a great base for exploring the area.
The river view was beautiful, and the garden was well looked after, with lots of interesting orchid varieties. The owner was very nice, the homestay was maintained well, and breakfast was good and plentiful. I loved my stay and will come back.
