Villa Mundaka

The pool is larger than at most villas, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was quick and very responsive. It's a great base, with good spots for brunch, coffee in the afternoon, lunch, and dinner all close by. We'll definitely come back.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we really liked the pool. The main issue was some moldy patches on the wooden floor. My son and husband slipped several times, so something needs to be done about it. I'd also have liked an extra pillow, since the ones there were very soft for my head.

This quiet, lovely two-bedroom villa has a semi-indoor private pool, about 10 by 3 metres and 150 cm deep. We liked being away from the crowds and getting a feel for local life, including cycling past the rice fields in the fresh air. The rate was appealing and made the distance worthwhile for a stay of a couple of days. Pererenan is around a 60-90 minute drive from International Ngurah Rai Airport and downtown Kuta, so it's a bit far from those areas.

We spent several days here with friends. The place felt very new, clean, and open, and the staff were really helpful. The beach is a five-minute walk down the road, and there's a convenience store a minute away with whatever you might need. Great place, stay here!
