After a long trip, I was glad the check-in was quick, even though the booking had originally been made for someone else. The person on duty spoke English, which I really appreciated, and did their best to help me. It’s on the main avenue, pretty sure near downtown, with car and motorcycle parking. There’s a nice coffee shop and restaurant next door, which I think is part of the hotel, plus a room for chatting and having drinks. For a night’s rest, the AC, Wi-Fi, and hot shower were enough. My room’s AC made a tic-tac sound, maybe it just needs maintenance. The place was clean, safe, and quiet. For a budget hotel it was acceptable. I’m not sure towels are included, but they gave me one when I asked. Breakfast wasn’t included.

After riding in Bromo, I came here to rest and get my energy back. It’s a good place to stay for a nice price, and the street food area is a five-minute walk away.

I was in room N 207 D, and the Wi-Fi didn’t reach it. I’d hoped to report in as soon as I got to the room, but had to go outside first to find a stable connection.

When I stayed here about 5-7 years ago, it still felt new and was clean. I had a downstairs room with cold AC and strong water. During my return visit at Eid 2022, I was put upstairs, and the experience was quite different. I’d requested a non-smoking room, but the upstairs one smelled of cigarettes. The bathroom water was very weak, even after I complained. After driving nonstop from Jakarta, I was exhausted and wanted a refreshing shower. The blanket and towels smelled a bit too. There are no handrails on the stairs, which seems dangerous for people with children. I’d be reluctant to return if I were assigned an upstairs room.
