We stayed with family during the holiday rush, when hotels were mostly full, and this one was cheaper than downtown places. The gate was shut, which felt secure, though with nobody there to guard it a new guest might wonder if the place is open. The cleanliness was disappointing. Under the bed was quite dirty, my kid found a maggot, and I spotted a cigarette butt in a corner. At checkout a room was being cleaned, but we only saw floor cleaning tools. I hope they change the bed and pillow sheets every time, especially during the COVID pandemic.
