Enos is a really helpful owner, and he connected me with Amos for two days of guiding. I usually don’t like going out with a guide, but in Toraja it’s a must, and Amos made sure I had a great time. He’s a very happy, relaxed guy. The rooms are decent and the price is fair.

They made my trip so easy. When my overnight bus from Makassar arrived at 4:30am, well before the 2pm check-in, they let me use an available room to sleep for an hour or two before my tour. Amos, the guide they suggested, was one of the best I’ve had. They also kept my big bags while I spent a couple of days elsewhere, and he even drove me to the bus stop. Such lovely hosts. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

The owners were so friendly and helped us with our questions and plans. We also had a great guide for the area, Johannes, who I’d really recommend. The rooms were nice and clean, and there’s a terrace with a relaxing view. Coffee, tea and water are free, and the big breakfast is well worth the price. Try the banana pancake!

A quiet place with rice fields in view, and a few tables and chairs outside the rooms if you need to work. It’s near Kete' Kesu, a convenience store and fruit stalls. The room was clean, with a towel, soap and toothpaste provided. You can pick a room with a good view or one with two beds. Tea, coffee and hot water are upstairs, and there’s a shared fridge for keeping drinks cold. It costs 250k a night, breakfast included.
