The breakfast has plenty of choice, and the cheeseburger is brilliant if you’ve had enough Indonesian food. Looking out across the paddy fields is lovely, especially at sundown. Staff are friendly and can sort out whatever you need. They also suggested Denis Spa for a massage or reflexology. It was good, reasonably priced, and about a five-minute ride away. Having stayed at a few hotels nearby, I’d say this relatively new place is the best.

The staff are great, and I liked the breakfast, though the menu wasn’t so good on some days. It’s a basic hotel, and there’s no soundproofing. The windows should at least have rubber seals to cut down the noise from outside.

I’m full of praise for this place. It’s modern and clean, and the rooms, food and staff are all fantastic. For me, it’s the best hotel in all of Rantepao. ❤️

The room and bed were comfortable, the restaurant food was great, and the views of rice fields and mountains are spectacular. The hotel looks cozy and new, probably the best place to stay in the area. But the sound insulation was terrible in our room, or maybe it was just its location. I could hear everything from the restaurant, and staff talking in the hallway woke me up around 5 a.m. almost every morning.

Breakfast is bomb diggitty. The homemade pineapple and tamarillo jam is a must. We asked if the chef would sell us some, which they don’t, but they kindly packed two bottles of each for us. The hotel is very, very cozy and the rooms were great. There are only 12 rooms, so book early.
