The bedding, room, and hygiene were all fine. I chose the cheapest room, which had a simple spring bed and a comfortable dacron pillow. The building quality seemed good too. There was no air conditioner, but the fan was enough. I did find two frogs in the shower room and got them out right away. There’s nowhere to put toiletries in the shower. Noise is the bigger problem: a nearby restaurant plays a loud one-man band, with people singing until almost midnight. You’ll need to be very tired to sleep through it. And there was a mosquito in the room, alone at first, but not for long.

The hotel’s location is handy for travelers: it’s behind a gas station (SPBU), beside a cafeteria and near an Alfamart convenience store, with the facilities you need in one area. At IDR. 200k per night, it’s one of the more cost-effective hotels in Rembang. The room is clean, the bed comfortable, and there’s cold and hot shower water, good air conditioning, and a water heater for tea or coffee. The area is often noisy, though, with bus and truck horns and singing from the cafeteria reaching the room. Bring earplugs and mosquito repellent to help you sleep.

The room is small, but adequate for a one-night rest. It’s reasonably clean and includes free breakfast for 2 people. There are mosquitoes, though the spray or repellant can handle them. The location is quite strategic, sharing a site with a gas station.

The food is simple but tastes really good, and the hot water works well. The exterior gets dusty because the hotel shares its site with a gas station. It’s okay overall.
