The hallway carries sound, so you hear people coming and going all night, including conversations at reception. Double rooms are only on the ground floor. Breakfast was pretty average, though cold eggs on toast and fresh local coffee were enough to get us started. The hotel is new, with a big room and a huge, clean, comfortable bed. The shower room is spacious, the hot water is great, and the WiFi is fast. It's a 10 minute walk to cold beer, cafes, and food markets. One receptionist speaks great English. If the women are at the desk, just use Google Translate on your phone.

The free breakfast is a simple selection of Indonesian dishes. Rooms are fairly clean and spacious, and the service was friendly and helpful.

I ended up staying here because the hotel I usually visit was fully booked, though there are other places to stay in Ruteng. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom decent, and the staff friendly and helpful. There were no coffee or tea packs in the room. Since only two rooms were booked that night, breakfast was fried rice with eggs. It could be better.

For under 1m idr, this is definitely the best hotel in ruteng. I was so happy to find it. It was only 500k idr per night, and everything was exceptionally clean. The hotel is very new, centrally located, and the rooms are spacious and well equipped with soap, shampoo, hot water, powerful showers, TV, and complimentary water. The owner is very helpful and speaks good English. The receptionists' English isn't as good, but they're very helpful too.

The food was delicious, and the rooms were good, clean, and had nice service. It's a nice hotel, but there's no emergency exit or sign.
