Flamboyant Villa Ubud

We spent three nights at the Villa and found it cozy, tidy, and clean, with plenty of basic things available to use. Its location held it back a bit for us: it’s somewhat hidden, not in central Ubud, and cars can’t drop you at the door, so there are two narrow lanes to walk. Still, there are good food places close by and it’s near the back entrances to the Monkey Forest.

A pretty tropical garden and helpful staff make this villa feel very Balinese. It’s right behind the Monkey Forest in Ubud, around a 15-minute walk from the centre.

I stayed at Flamboyant villa for almost a month and it felt like a second home. It’s outside Ubud centre, so the area has no traffic, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help, the pool is clean, and the rooms are lovely. 10/10, would recommend.

We’ve just spent another week at Flamboyant Villa, which has become our regular place whenever we visit Ubud. The whole staff is kind and friendly, and our room was comfortable and clean as always. We love the peaceful feel of the hotel and its charming neighborhood, where there are lots of great restaurants and warungs. Rooms either look onto the beautiful Balinese garden or open directly onto the pool. We’ll definitely be back.
