The people were nice, spoke reasonable English, and were very helpful. They’re clearly doing their best to keep guests happy even though the whole resort is old and run down. Our bungalow was clean, with new comfortable beds, working AC, and a nice view. The bathroom could use a bit more cleaning. You can rent a bike there, which I really recommend for exploring the island on your own. redDoorz has a little cafe and terrace with a brilliant view. To reach the beach, you have to go down a few stairs. It isn’t a pristine white sandy beach, and there are waves, stones, and rocks, but you can swim. We had a pleasant stay. Thanks.

The hotel could become a good resort, but it seems short on budget and isn’t maintaining even the facilities it already has. The bathroom was dirty, and the water was gone at 5am. They said there was security staff at night, but I couldn’t find anyone. The grounds were very dark and spooky, with too little lighting. The AC couldn’t be adjusted, so I froze overnight and had to unplug it.

Disgusting and terrible. Everything was old, dirty, broken, rotten, or falling apart. I’d paid for the most expensive room type, but it still wasn’t possible to stay there. I left within two hours, as soon as I could find something else online on an island that was fully booked for the public holiday. Agoda wouldn’t refund me, even though I had photo and video proof, because they couldn’t get any response from this so-called hotel.

The place was very quiet, but it’s far from downtown. The room was old and poorly maintained. The toilet wouldn’t flush with the button, so I had to flush it manually with a gayung. There was no hot water, and the AC had to be operated manually without a remote. It was very noisy when running. The wooden floor looked like it might break.
