I chose the sleeping capsule for 59k instead of one of the regular rooms, which cost 275k or more. The dorm is mixed, not separated for women and men, and it’s near reception. The toilet and both bathrooms were clean and usable. My locker was decent and big enough for a 40L bag. The capsule only has a curtain for a little privacy, with no lock. I was given amenities, a towel, and a blanket, though they may have been part of a promotion, so I wouldn’t count on getting them free next time. After 10pm it gets so quiet that I didn’t feel safe going out. The AC was too dry for me.

A good budget option for anyone with business in Tembalang or Undip. The price was around 200k++ IDR or $15+, and the staff were friendly. My room was small but had enough space for a temporary stay, with a double bed, flat TV, and AC. Everything worked and was clean. The bathroom was fairly large, with hot and cold showers. Breakfast comes with a choice of fried rice or “rames”.
