I enjoyed my time at this hostel. It was clean, the other guests were friendly, and the separate areas for men and women made it feel more comfortable.

I expected a decent stay, but the room was small and dirty, and far too expensive for what you get. The shared bathroom wasn’t good, and its door handle seemed partly broken. I’m really disappointed with the price. Overall, a bad experience. Management isn’t living up to its name.

The air conditioner in my room didn’t work properly, and they didn’t provide soap, toothpaste, or similar basics. My bathroom was outside the room, but they charged the same price. I’m disappointed and they should improve the service.

Omah Pelem Syariah is suitable for visitors from Semarang or out of town who are on a standard budget. It’s comfortably located near Semarang Tawang Station and has good facilities, including Wi-Fi and a television.
