RedDoorz NH Syariah near UNIMUS 2 Semarang

I've stayed here plenty of times, so I was disappointed by how this visit went. My first room hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests and was a mess. I asked to switch, but the next room had the same problem: the sheets looked unchanged and had a lot of stains and hair. The place itself is nice, but cleanliness really needs work. Booking through the tv*k app seems to mean getting a top-floor room, with no hot water. Going up and down three floors without an elevator gets tiring. I hope they improve the cleaning soon.

We got a good deal through the app, under 120 thousand when I stayed, and the room was comfortable for the price. It wasn't very big, but there was enough space, and it was clean, with a tidy bed, a fresh smell, and a clean bathroom. Towels, toiletries, soap and shampoo were supplied, along with free wifi, a TV, AC, hangers, and chairs. The inn is in an alley, but close to the main road and not bothered by traffic noise. Food stalls are right in front and beside it, including fried rice and fried chicken, and there's a grocery store nearby. The location is convenient. The inn is opposite another one under the same manager. Service was good, and car parking is available.

I found the location handy for getting around Semarang, especially with UNIMUS nearby, and it was easy to reach from different directions. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were friendly. My room was tidy and clean, with AC, free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom, so it was a comfortable place to rest after a long day. For an affordable stay, it had the basic comforts I wanted and felt like good value, especially for students or travelers looking for a convenient base.

At 100,000 rupiah, it felt well worth the price. The place was clean and comfortable, with hot water, cool AC, and an Android TV. It's quiet, with good road access and tasty outdoor dining nearby at night. The rooms are cramped, the bathrooms are simple, and the amenities are sparse: just soap, no drinking water. Parking is limited too. Still, it's a good option for a relaxing, affordable stay if you don't need lots of hotel amenities.
