I stopped by the restaurant upstairs and really liked the city view of Semarang. The food was tasty and very reasonably priced, and the cozy setting was matched by friendly, helpful waiters. We waited a few minutes for our order. I visited in the afternoon, though, and imagine the scenery might feel more magical at night.

For a low-budget staycation in Semarang, this hotel is a decent option. The rooms are spacious, and having a refrigerator in each one is a nice extra at this price. Some rooms don't have windows, and the cleanliness was just so-so.

The hotel is easy to reach and right in the middle of the city. My first night was disappointing: the room was in the basement, the water could be heard during the night, and the bathroom exhaust fan was noisy. They moved us to a better room for night two. It was smaller, but had a nice atmosphere.

From this highland spot in Semarang, you get a lovely view of the village and the outline of the city's tall buildings. The rates are affordable, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is included too, making it a great place to stay while visiting Semarang.

Breakfast was the highlight for me. Every menu item tasted amazing and delicious, thanks to the chef for such a lovely meal on the first day of 2019. The room was spacious too, with a good view from the bar lounge.
