We brought a school group of around 50 children here for an event in Semarang. The rooms were small but nice, and the bathrooms were good. There’s no breakfast, and a laundry is right across from the hotel.

We could hear people talking and shouting at 6 in the morning, and loud motorcycles outside at 2 and 4 am made our corner room on the second floor uncomfortable. The blanket was too small for two people. We’d booked three rooms for six of us on an app, paying more than Rp 2 mio for one night because it was high season. The normal price should be half that. We’d called at 4 pm to say we’d arrive at 10 pm, but got there around 10:30 and found no towels, soap, or shampoo. After we asked, they brought clean white towels, though some were dirty and no longer very white. On the plus side, parking was easy, and the room had a smart TV for Netflix, mineral water, instant coffee, and tea. After we complained about the towels, they also sent up a large pack of snacks. We stayed on the last night of a long weekend while traveling from Surabaya to Jakarta, since most hotels in Semarang were full. This place near UNDIP still had three rooms available.

Clean hotel in a convenient spot near Undip, and the price felt fair.
