We had a decent stay for what we paid. The room had a comfortable amount of space and a small balcony, though there wasn't anywhere to put our belongings. It looked clean, but the bathroom wasn't quite clean enough for my taste. The area was peaceful, which I liked. I'd definitely rent a bike, and they offer them at a fair price. Service matched the low price: no room cleaning, breakfast, or amenities, though we could ask for extra towels. The host was kind, but spoke very little English. It was a bit awkward when the couple living there seemed to have a serious argument nearby. There was yelling, and she threw a bucket of things on the ground 😅. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.

The owners were so lovely, and the location was spot on. They even helped me arrange an airport pickup, laundry, and a trip to the pharmacy. Great value for the price, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The area around it is quiet and mostly domestic, and it's about a 1 km walk to Senggigi beaches and restaurants. The staff were helpful, and the room has working A/C and a hot shower. Everything seemed to be there for a comfortable stay, and the modest daily price felt well worth it. The rooms were clean and tidy. I had just checked in, so I can't comment yet on soundproofing or outside noise.

Everything worked in the room, and it felt surprisingly luxurious while still being pretty cheap. There's good food nearby, too. The owners were brilliant and helped us sort out a lot of complicated things when we were in a tough spot, plus they gave us recommendations for places to go. This place deserves more attention.

We arrived in the early afternoon and managed to find somewhere else, but it could have been a real problem if we'd got there in the evening. We'd booked one night through booking.com a couple of days earlier, only to be told there was no room when we showed up. The managers hadn't contacted us beforehand to explain. They offered to take us to another place, but we chose to find our own. A message ahead of time would have been appreciated.
