We really enjoyed using Villa Mataano as our base in northwest Lombok. The neighborhood was fairly quiet, and there’s a very good bakery and restaurant just down the road where we ate several times. The rooms and bathroom were spacious, modern, and seemed new. The bathroom also didn’t have the bad smell we’d encountered at many other hotels around Lombok. Staff were very friendly and kept our luggage safe while we toured Lombok for just over a week. I’d stay here again without hesitation if I were in the area. In my opinion, nothing nearby offers better value.

The room was big and comfortable, with a kitchen area, and there’s a pool too. It’s good value and only a short drive to the beach. My only reason for taking off a star is that the air con wasn’t very strong, which made it hard for me to sleep.

A great place for me, my husband, and our child. The owner and staff treated us so well, and within minutes of arriving they brought welcome drinks and snacks. A few hours later there was another free snack. The room was clean and spacious, with a lovely balcony view. The TV, fridge, shower, kettle, hot water, and air con all worked perfectly. The price was reasonable too. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back!

A calm, pleasant place to stay in Senggigi, with a clean swimming pool. Our room was on the top floor, so we had a great mountain view, and we could also see the sea from the balcony. The rooms are very spacious, and breakfast was good. Just know that shops and restaurants mean a walk.

We’d been traveling for five months and wanted a place where we could simply relax. This was just right. Our room was very comfortable and had a terrace, and the pool area was nicely laid out with warm water that was easy to get into. Breakfast was brought to our room at the time we chose, always with a smile. At some point during the day, we’d also get a tasty fruit drink and snacks. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Uki at reception, who helped us plan our onward travel. Highly recommended.
