I still give it five stars, sis. Rp154,000.00 gets you two rooms, which is a good deal. We’d already booked, but didn’t stay because the kids felt uncomfortable with the atmosphere. The dim lighting and pitch-black rooms were creepy, like something from a horror movie. The staff were kind, friendly, and willing to help. Maybe the place needs some improvements, sis. It had been improved, though simply, and was clean, tidy, and well lit. I hope it gets better in the future.

The atmosphere is cool and, for this kind of budget, my stay was very good and satisfying. The caretaker was friendly too. To help other customers avoid disappointment, it would be great if the caretaker asked what room they’d prefer when they come back, so everyone can be happy with the room.

I booked two rooms through OYO. One was fine, but the other wasn’t, and its AC was broken, so I cancelled and didn’t stay. I requested a refund through the app, but it’s taken a long time. The pool hasn’t been paid out since May 2025, and I don’t know if it will be paid or not.

I found this as the cheapest homestay in June 2025, with the total under one hundred thousand rupiah. At that price I expected mediocre service and poor facilities, but the service was excellent, friendly, and helpful. They accommodated requests for soap, extra towels, or prayer rugs. My room’s AC wasn’t very cool, and they even offered to move me, but I stayed put. I was born in Yogyakarta and spent a third of my life there. The room and homey feel reminded me of most homes I’ve stayed in, and this one was even better because it had AC and hot water. Just remember it’s not a star-rated hotel, so keep your expectations adjusted.
