The atmosphere is nice, and the place is pleasant. The price is very affordable.

The homestay is fairly comfortable, but it’s poorly maintained and managed. It wasn’t as clean as it looks on Instagram. I was the only guest during my stay. When I arrived, the caretaker wasn’t there and the room hadn’t been prepared. It was still dirty, and so were the sheets. The grounds were dusty, dirty, and messy. There were lots of gecko droppings on the chairs and tables, and cat or dog droppings in the motorbike parking area. The kitchen was stuffy, and the refrigerator was off. It seemed as if there hadn’t been guests for weeks. Apparently, when there are no guests, there’s no cleaning or maintenance. I stayed for three days and there was absolutely no caretaker. The place was left dirty and only got a minimal clean when I arrived. On February 6th at 1:06 AM, a magnitude 6.4 earthquake hit and the electricity went out. I was alone there, a woman by myself, and it was really uncomfortable. The homestay is quite far from the village, and it was very quiet. The tap water also stopped running between 9 and 11 a.m. We paid for water, so why was it limited? They said the water company was doing repairs. Geez, how can a hotel rely only on PDAM water? In room 8, the bathroom door was broken, and the electrical outlets were pulled out of the wall. There was only one outlet, too. Tsk! I’d been told guests would get breakfast, but I didn’t receive any on the first day. I messaged the manager that night and finally got breakfast the next morning. Not very well organized, breee!
