Easy access to the beach in Gunung Kidul was a real plus. The guest house is simple and affordable, but the rooms were clean and comfortable, with a cozy, homey feel. A pleasant budget stay in Yogyakarta.

The room on the second floor was dirty and dusty, the sheets were stained, and the amenities were empty. On my first arrival, there was no receptionist, so I waited about 30 minutes. I tried contacting them but got no reply. When the guys finally arrived, they wore shorts and T-shirts, were unfriendly, and didn't apologize. That night, people partying, men and women, made noise until 4 am, and I couldn't sleep. Before I checked out in the afternoon, I found my motorbike seat burned by cigarettes and full of holes, with a lot of ash around it. It's a shame the owner employs such incompetent people, as it puts others off staying here during their holidays.
