The staff were friendly and quick to help when needed. The place was peaceful and quiet, and the bathroom was clean with working hot water. I slept really well on the soft mattress, with clean blankets. The room was tidy and had what I needed, and it smelled fresh when I arrived, as if it had just been made up. For the price, getting somewhere this clean and comfortable felt well worth it. A good fit for a restful stay that doesn't cost too much.

The homestay was clean and nice, and the room had the feel of a boarding house. It worked well for us as a place to sleep while traveling. It was a little expensive at 275,000 Rupiah per room, and they didn't provide toiletries such as soap. Breakfast was just rice cakes. I had seen a Google review calling it a scam. Maybe that person called the contact number, though we should go straight to the location. The phone code I saw was 021, which I know is for the Jakarta area, while this place is in Pelalawan, Riau.
