OYO 1694 Pariban Homestay

The bed was dirty, with dried, clear stains on the sheets, and the bathroom smelled. The TV was broken and nearly falling off the wall. There weren't any towels, soap, or toothpaste either.

I left disappointed and felt like I had wasted 200,000 Rupiah. The room is large, but the facilities are broken and it wasn't clean. The bed was dirty, with what looked like nail clippings in it. Do they clean it at all? Maybe it looks clean enough to the inn, so the next guests end up with the same mess. Sorry, but that's how it felt. The wardrobe door was broken, the hot water shower was useless, and the TV didn't work. There were no amenities, towels, toothpaste, or bottled mineral water. How are we supposed to drink tap water from the electric kettle they provided? The price is quite cheap, but there are a lot of drawbacks. Luckily, there's a restaurant across the street for food and drinks. I really regret staying here. I hope they pay more attention to cleanliness and repairs.

The caretaker was like a ghost, hard to find or contact, which made check-in, check-out, and raising complaints difficult. Changing the name from Oyo to RedDoorz hasn't changed anything. Think twice before booking here. There are plenty of better hotels that cost less.

There's no view, but Parbaba's white sandy beach is close enough that you don't need to park. The hot water isn't perfect, though it's enough to get some rest for the night.
