After riding a motorcycle taxi all the way from Pasar Turi station, I found myself dealing with a place I’d already paid for through Traveloka, and I couldn’t get a refund. 😭 When I messaged on WhatsApp, the owner’s first reply was curt. They said they hadn’t partnered for over two years. How does that make sense? 😭😭😭😭

We no longer work with OYO. Their management is hard to contact, so please take any financial questions to OYO. We haven’t taken money from customers and can’t handle refunds. Sorry.

I had a small child with me and was still told to cancel because the rooms were full, even though OYO showed availability. OYO canceled the booking and didn’t refund me. Blacklisted.

Watch out when booking through OYO. I was scammed with the excuse that this boarding house had never worked with OYO. The admin was really unfriendly. Thanks.

I booked through Oyo and had already paid there, but when I arrived they said I couldn’t stay by the day. They offered no solution. Be careful, guys.
